It’s been over a year since the end of the Year of Reconciliation, a year that focused on building new relationships between and all Vancouverites, one built on a foundation of openness, dignity, understanding, and hope.

In that time, Vancouver has seen the progress made in recognizing the mistakes of our past, and made strides to correct those injustices. While the Year of Reconciliation may be over, continual dialogue must occur in an effort to build a common future.

Vancouver has been a leader in trying to address the impacts of a decades of mistreatment and discrimination, but there is still much work to be done.

Join Councillor Andrea Reimer to learn about the successes we have made, but more importantly, for a discussion on what the future could hold for Vancouver, and share your thoughts on what the city can do to continue to build on progress we've started.
