New residents of Vancouver with uncertain or no immigration status should have full access to all city services without fearing detention or deportation.

That's why in April, councillor Geoff Meggs and the Vision-led city council supported an updated policy ensuring the city does not require an individuals immigration status while accessing city services.

As a community, we have a proud history of welcoming people and their families in times of desperate need, helping them start new lives in Vancouver.

Join councillor Geoff Meggs and community leaders to discuss the next steps to ensure Vancouver residents can access all services without fear.
